| Mobile Gaming faces mass-market challenge |
| Italy is the most surprising market in Europe: an 80 million euro turnover in 2005 with an increase of 50% in comparison with 2004. In a country where the number of SIM cards (in the 2007 there will be 25 million subscribers to UMTS services) exceeds the total number of the population and where the turnover of mobile VAS has collected 1 billion of euro in 2005, mobile gaming is gearing up to face a tremendous growth also favoured by new trade politics started by mobile operators (source: School of Management of the Polytechnic of Milan). |
